Mattingly Bats

Coming from a training academy, we tend to sometimes ask our players to use the Mattingly Bats while we are working with them. Not always, but when players are holding the bat in their palms and continue to roll their wrists, the V-Grip on the Mattingly forces them to line up their knuckles properly and helps many players drive through the ball without turning their wrists over.

As far as bats go...this is a good quality bat for the money. The problem, and I'm not convinced it is, is that you always hit the ball on the same part of the bat since you have to hold the bat in your fingers. Many manufacturers say that you need to turn the bat and hit the ball in different places so that the bat will not dent as quickly. Since most players need to buy new bats each year...I'm not sure that's really an issue.
